This past Monday Night Raw, Sheamus finally won a match after what seemed to have been months of him losing match after match. Sheamus was pushed extremely far when he first came into the WWE and was even given the WWE title within the first year of his career. Sheamus is a good talent but I do believe that his character was not given enough development time before they put him in a main event role. I was really hoping that the WWE had not given up on him and his recent win over Daniel Bryan for the U.S. title shows that there may be hope for the Celtic Warrior yet.
I agree with you about his character and getting the title WAY to early in his career. But going from two WWE Title runs to the U.S. Championship...I guess a win is a win...Hopefully the WWE and McMahon start putting some relevance into the U.S. Title as its actually one of the most prestigious titles in wrestling history.
