The Hardy Boyz: Disgraces To The Business

I am not going to go off on a huge tirade because I would be wasting time and effort on the subject but I just want to say that I am extremely disappointed and embarrassed as a fan of The Hardy brothers.  Both these guys had the world in the palms of their hands and they threw it all away on more than on occasion.  After numerous arrests and failed drug trests, not one but both Hardy Brother's are out of a job.  Both superstar's actions are embarrassing and have been terrible influences to the younger wrestling audiences.

If you guys have been watching TNA lately, Sting has been pretty much stealing line by line, bit by bit from The Joker from Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight.  His most recent appearance has just been ridiculous as it was a carbon copy of The Jokers makeup.

Mick Foley Leaves TNA, No Word On Future...

Mick Foley has announced that he will be leaving TNA wrestling.  Mick hasn't stated what his future plans are in the business but apparently they won't involve TNA.  Whatever the case I'm glad he got out of there.  A legend such as Foley was wasting his talent over there.

Sting Set To Face Hogan At TNA Bound For Glory

Dear lord this is a bad idea.  Even though it is not 100 percent finalized, the current plans in TNA is for Hogan to face Sting in a main event match at the Bound For Glory ppv.  Hogan could barely put on a good match in his prime, why this is seen as a good idea is beyond me.  Once again TNA is relying solely on the nostalgia factor in spite of making brand new interesting angles.  This promises for pure crap ladies and gents.

Chyna Returns To Wrestling, Signs With TNA

After many years away from the ring, Chyna returned to action in TNA when she was revealed as Kurt Angle's secret tag team partner in his match against Jeff Jarret and Karen Jarrett.  TNA once again signs an old, stale wrestler made famous by WWE.  While the shock value is there, I don't see Chyna bringing in any ratings.

Kevin Nash Talks About Possibly Heading Back To TNA, Cites Boredom For Reason

As many of you probably know, Kevin Nash made a surprise return at the most recent Royal Rumble donning his Diesel persona one more time.  Since then we have not seen or heard from him on WWE television, which I am personally disappointed with.  Nash wrote on his twitter that the WWE doesnt have anything on the table for him to do yet and Nash thinks his age has something to do with it.  He states that if he stays with the WWE he will just be sitting on the bench until his retirement, but if he returns to TNA he will most likely be able to wrestle again.  I am bummed that the WWE couldnt find anything to do with Nash as Diesel.  He got a huge ovation at the Rumble which is reason enough to give him more TV time.  This is a clear case of wasted potential of an awesome idea.

A Thorn In The Side Of This Business

Now I may be speaking blasphemy in the eyes of many old school wrestling fans, but I just want to say that I am not, and never will be, a fan of Scott Steiner.  Despite the fact that Steiner has been in the business longer than most of the people in both TNA and WWE, I really dont agree with much of the way he conducts business and treats others.  To be blunt, he's a bully, straight up.  He's had a history with backstage violence and inability to get along with others, and each time I see him on TNA, he's the only wrestler I watch that I legitimately dislike and don't care to ever meet in person.  Let's just look at the fatcs:
he is an avid, proven, steroid user, he's threatened police officers, and has plenty of accounts of assault on his record.  He's a dick, straight up.  I don't like his character, he's a shitty wrestler, and he's a very ignorant person.  If you've ever seen a Scott Steiner match with ANYONE, chances are you've seen a terible match.  Nuff said...

Kurt Angle Arrested

TNA wrestler Kurt Angle, was arrested after cops found Kurt's car parked in the middle of a median on a freeway.  The cops smelled alcohol on his breath and he was given a field sobriety test in which he failed.  Since Kurt was not driving the car at the time he was booked for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.  Not a DUI but he was still behind the wheel while drunk.

Kong Is Koming!

Former TNA wrestler Awesome Kong, will be soon making her debut in the WWE.  I have not seen a whole lot of her ring performances but I have heard good things.  She seems to be someone who would make a great addition to the roster.  She will no doubt make a great female heel and can fill a dominating woman role that hasn't been filled since Chyna left the WWE.  I am looking forward to her tenure in the WWE.

Wasted Talent?

Kenneth Anderson, AKA Mr. Kennedy, AKA Mr. Anderson, is one superstar that was fired from the WWE that should have never been let go in the first place.  I know he was fired from the WWE, which is the reason why he works for TNA, but I strongly disagree with the WWE's decision to let him go.  Regardless of the true reason he was let go, I believe that it was a huge mistake for the WWE to lose a performer with as much potential and talent as Anderson.  I have been watching TNA as well as WWE, and he seems to be one of the only interesting wrestlers on the TNA roster.  There is a constant rumor that Anderson pissed off one, or more, of the superstars who have a lot of say in the company, which is why he was so unceremoniously let go from the WWE.  Kenneth Anderson is a wrestler with great ring presence and natural character that keeps people entertained.  While he is certainly doing well in TNA, WWE is place where superstars become legends and I don't see Andrerson realizing his potential greatness in TNA. I hope that WWE lets bygones be bygones and some day rehires Mr. Anderson and lets him shine as the superstar I think he could be.

TNA Morale Is Reportedly Down...

...and why wouldn't it be?!  I have not seen one thing that TNA has done recently that has been any good or has given the new wrestlers any time to shine.  The matches are crap, the championship belt has been given back and forth to old wrestlers, and there seems to be no real direction with the company.  TNA has been doing their weekly shows in Orlando Florida on a sound stage for what seems to be like forever.  If they truly were making any headway their fan base would be much bigger but it doesn't seem to grow past hardcore TNA fans or occasional visitors to Disney World.  Now that Bischoff and Hogan run the show with an already delusional Jeff Jarrett, I do not see this company growing at all in the near future.  Remember Hogan, Bischoff, and even Jarrett, were big reasons why WCW failed, throw in Vince Russo, and you essentially have the same, doomed company.

TNA: Headed To Be The New WCW

I have been following TNA wrestling for the past few weeks and let me just say that I am very disappointed with this product.  The past few episodes of Impact  I have witnessed were very boring with very little wrestling at all.  The last episode I watched had two matches during the two hours of runtime.  The stories were nowhere near as interesting as WWE storylines and thats saying something.  For example, Kurt Angle has a surprise for Jeff Jarrett and ends up hitting Jeff with a *gasp* a guitar?!  NO WAY!!!  You understand what I'm getting at here.  TNA is heading for the same fate as WCW.  I mean they have the same people running it that put WCW out of business (Bischoff and Russo).  Another note, look at all the top TNA stars, they are stars that were made in other promotions; Sting (WCW), Kurt Angle (WWE) Rob Van Dam (ECW AND WWE) Mr. Anderson (WWE) and of course Mick Foley (I do not need to tell you his history).  The amount of home grown TNA stars is miniscule.  I refuse to acknowledge Samoa Joe as a potential draw.  He may be popular to some people but I really dont see anything all that special about him.  I have recently finished Mick Foley's book "Countdown To Lockdown" and it sickens me to read his claims that TNA is such a great product and is far better than WWE.  While the backstage politics may run rampant in WWE and some superstars may have better unfair advantages than others, they offer a far better product than TNA.  If you dont believe me, tivo an episode of Impact and compare it to a recorded episode of Raw.  If you like the episode of Impact better, then I owe you a steveweiser.

Jeff Hardy Wrestles Under The Influence Once Again?!

So there have been reports that the main event at TNA's last pay per view, that Jeff Hardy showed up to work "in bad condition."  There has been no specification as to what that actually means but many are assuming that he was under the influence of some substance, wether it be alcohol or drugs.  The match was even cut short to a little over a minute due to the fact that Sting simply did not want to work with him in his "state."  As many of you probably know, Jeff Hardy has a long history with substance abuse and this would not be the first time he has shown up drunk or high.  In my opinion, Hardy is largely to blame of course, but I think that TNA is also to blame as well.  Hardy pulled this same bullshit in WWE and despite the fact that he was a huge talent, they fired him.  TNA seems like they are tolerating Jeff's substance abuse and seem to be turning a blind eye to his destructive behavior.

Sorry female wrestling fans, Jeff Hardy is off the market.  Hardy recently announced that he has finally married his longtime girlfriend.  The two have been dating since 1999 and have a child together.  Congratulations Jeff Hardy.
